針對外界質疑京華城因為連年虧損，威京集團打算將京華城打掉重建蓋豪宅，但京華城董事長陳玉坤今（4）日澄清，京華城以鋼骨打造造價不斐，現在僅使用10年還很新「怎麼可能打掉重蓋？」他說京華城不是要改建而是擬進行改裝，未來傾向引進一般旅館，如此可結合百貨商場打造吃喝玩樂基地，甚至結合北市旅遊，為低迷已久的京華城業績帶入動能。

京華城董事長陳玉坤表示，京華城以鋼骨打造耗費龐大經費，可以用至少60、70年以上，現在才用10年還很新，怎麼可能打掉重蓋建豪宅？但他坦言10年來民眾消費型態改變，同業百貨公司每隔幾年就會進行改裝，京華城營運狀況不好也想要有大幅度的改裝，但礙於民國80年土地由工業區變更為商業區，其商三用地僅限制6種使用，包括公眾服務空間（如社教或醫療衛生機構）、國際購物中心、國際觀光旅館、辦公大樓、文化休閒設施與停車場。

陳玉坤指出，原本的構想是想設置飯店來帶入人潮並結合百貨商場力拼商機，而商三用地限制要做飯店只能建置國際型的觀光旅館，但京華城球體建築以及其他因素造成要引進國際觀光飯店品牌較不容易，因此之前才會向市府申請解除商三用地限制，希望做一般的旅館飯店。

而解除商三用地限制，關係容積率能不能回復到560%，畢竟30%的土地都已經捐出去了。沒想到這被外界解讀為「希望爭取提高容積率從392%到560%」，陳玉坤今日在「京華城容積率遭錯誤解讀，10年來首次向股東們致歉」記者會上提出多項市府文件表示，依照一開始北市都市計畫書上頭明白註記，容積率於捐地30%後應為560%，但柯市府延續前朝郝市府因太極雙星弊案故意遷怒，錯誤解讀容積率為392%，讓集團與股東權益都受到侵害，像是貸款銀行搬出市府認定的容積率392%已經影響到他們的信用貸款。

陳玉坤強調，集團沒有如市長柯文哲所說獲取暴利，如果容積率不能回復到560%，才是讓京華城損失100多億元，「我們沒有多要什麼，只希望市府依約還給原本就有的560%」。尤其監察院最終做出京華城基地容積率應為560%且提糾正市府函文，無奈市府2年來總是互踢皮球沒有作為，希望柯文哲能主持公道。而針對都發局表示，如有疑慮可尋求法律途徑解決，京華城則回應會先與股民報告後再行決定。

中華職棒聯盟吳志揚會長先前宣布，中華隊將在明年3月前往日本與侍Japan進行台日交流賽，14日秘書長朱康震開會表示，已有更進一步的交流賽流程以及暫定報到日期。

明年代表中華隊的選手，暫定3月2日報到發裝備，下午舉辦公益造勢活動告訴大家中華隊將前往日本進行交流賽並宣告球季正式開始，3月3日早上飛往日本，下午在名古屋室外球場練球，4日在名古屋巨蛋讓選手適應球場練習，5日與侍Japan交流賽第一戰，比完接著移動到大阪球場，6日交流賽第二戰，7日歸國。

中職4隊球隊同意以及隊員認可由今年總冠軍Lamigo桃猿總教練洪一中帶隊中華隊前進日本，但目前還在等待本人回應。

球員將規定為26至28人，另外加上教練團、防護員、工作人員陪同，估計40人前往日本。

日本誠摯邀請我國職棒選手前往日本切磋球技，中職4隊表示，雖然是交流友誼居家用品賽但仍要打出最好的成績和最佳戰力，也是向對手的尊重，不只是去觀光。
